Amianco:
This shy, reluctant wine, produces a creamy medium-bodied white with
apple, citrus and honey-like flavors. Abundantly grown in Italy
where summer rainfalls are low, production methods there and over
here are the winemaker’s choice. Our winemaker uses malolactic
fermentation in stainless steel, yielding a lively, acidic rich and
smoky taste yielding to apple and citrus.
Sangiovese:
Intensely colored from a long hang time on the vine. The wine comes
alive and fills the entire mouth with dark fruity blackberries,
plums, caramel, coffee and pepper. Delicate tannin structure with
lively acidity. Long to be enjoyed with lingering aroma after
swallowing.
Barbera: Complex fruity wine with deep purple/black color and raspberry nose. It is dense and spicy with firm structure. Slides down the throat for a yummy finish. So good, it has to be savored alone before pairing with fowl, risotto, red meat and figs.
Cabernet Sauvignon: Exciting from beginning to finish. Profound color, exquisite nose, (thick black currents and jammy fruit) with a touch of vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate. A late harvest, low yield crop resulting in a balanced cellar-worthy wine.
Primitivo: This
wine should be enjoyed young for its charming, vibrant fruitiness.
It is also a fine wine to cellar. This father of the Zinfandel grape
is deeply colored, rich and concentrated with zesty cherry, clove,
wild blackberry, raspberry and spice.
Primavera Rosa:
Who
says reds aren't for those hot 100 degree days. A light touch with
Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Adds fruit and sweetness to cooling
dryness. A fun wine for one or a party. Serve cold with any summer
meal , or as an afternoon treat.
Port: Made from our late harvested Cabernet
Sauvignon grapes, this wine will leave you craving for just a " little bit more". It is an elegant match for dark chocolate, creme bulee, fruitcake or enjoyed as a dessert all by itself.
Cabiovese: Think
Tuscany with this Chianti-type blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. A spicy fruit forward pleaser with good acidity, fruit currants and plums. Nice finish. A wine that can stand alone or with meals (preferrably Italian).
Cabera: Imaginative blend of luscious fruity Barbera and firm structured Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine surprises the nose and the palate with a fragrance of fresh fruit and floral bouquet. Unexpected flavors of raspberry and lavender in the finish. This wine loves lasagna and pasta with wild mushrooms.
